Terms of Service.
1. The short version
Meez is an open library of website build-prompts, looping motion backgrounds, and remixable templates. You can browse the whole library and copy the free prompts without an account. If you want every prompt, every template, and future drops, you can upgrade to a paid plan. The websites you build with these prompts are yours.
2. Accounts
No account is required to browse the library, copy free prompts, or download motion backgrounds. You only create an account when you upgrade to a paid plan. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.
3. Plans, billing & payment
The paid plan (Unlimited) is billed monthly or yearly, or as a one-time Lifetime payment, through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you check out. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data.
4. No refunds — all sales final
Because Meez gives you immediate access to digital content, all payments are final and non-refundable — including any unused time on a subscription and one-time Lifetime purchases. You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time to stop future charges, and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for (see section 3). The only exception is a refund we are required to provide under applicable law. You can browse and preview the entire library for free before you buy, so you know what you are getting.
5. What you can do with the prompts
The websites and content you build using Meez prompts and templates are yours to use, including for commercial and client work. A commercial license is included explicitly with the Unlimited plan if you want it spelled out. You may not, however, resell, redistribute, or republish the Meez prompt text or premium library itself as a competing product.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to break, scrape at scale, or circumvent access controls on the premium library, and do not use Meez to build anything unlawful. We may suspend access that abuses the service or harms other users.
7. Availability & changes
We work to keep Meez available and the library growing, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or retire prompts and features over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date above.
8. No warranties — provided “as is”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meez and everything in it — the prompts, motion backgrounds, templates, and the website itself — are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the prompts, or any output you generate from them, will be correct, reliable, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, fit for your purpose, or free of third-party rights. Anything you do with Meez is at your sole risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meez and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Meez — even if we were advised such damages were possible. In all cases, our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to Meez is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50. You agree these limits are a reasonable allocation of risk and a basis of our bargain. Some places do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Your responsibility & indemnification
You are solely responsible for what you build, publish, or ship using Meez, and for reviewing, testing, and legally clearing it before you use it. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meez and the people behind it from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the service; the websites, content, or products you create with it; your violation of these terms or of any law; or your infringement or alleged infringement of any third party’s rights.
11. Content & ownership
Meez is a curated library, and some of the content in it may have been gathered from — or inspired by — other sources around the web. We don’t claim to own everything shown here, and we make no claim of ownership over content that isn’t ours. The prompts and templates are creative starting points and references, not legal clearance, and output you generate from them may resemble existing designs, code, fonts, trademarks, or brands. It is your responsibility to make sure anything you ship is properly licensed and lawful in your jurisdiction. We give no warranty that the prompts, templates, or their output are free of any third party’s rights.
If you are a rights holder and believe something here belongs to you and shouldn’t be included, please email us at support@meez.design — we’ll discuss it with you and take it down promptly.
12. General
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part is narrowed to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Meez about the service and supersede any prior understanding. They are governed by the laws of [your country/state], and any dispute will be handled exclusively by the courts of [your country/state]. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continuing to use Meez after a change means you accept the updated terms.
